Betsy has worked for Cracker Barrel for 3 years with a background of 13 years experience in Quality Assurance & Food Safety. Her current responsibilities include: supplier and product compliances for restaurant and gift shop food items as well as restaurant equipment and supplies. Her team leads and executes the QA and Supplier Development functions to include product creation of specification process, food safety processes, product and supplier facility audits.

Her team creates and executes processes for preventing and responding to potential brand crisis situations. She is responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive quality and food safety systems for over 570 restaurants, over 100 suppliers and 300 products. She was also the champion for designing the infrastructure and installation of their quality data software throughout the organization. She is involved with food cost analysis relating to food waste/ product yields at the store level and making decisions for continuous improvements. She manages the budget for the Quality Assurance and Food Safety Department.
