Dr. Ann Draughon is a Professor in the Department of Food Science and Technology at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She has over 30 years of expertise in Food Microbiology and Food Safety and was President of the International Association for Food Protection in 1995-96. She also served as Chair of the Board of the National Alliance for Food Safety and Security in 2006-2007. She is a Certified Homeland Security Instructor on the topic of Food Defense.
